Diana Comstock is a dedicated artist, vegan and animal rights activist. The goal of humanity is to evolve and live harmoniously and peaceful as one. Art contributes to this goal by connecting us to our innermost selves.
She works mostly with acrylic paint, using collage to add texture and depth – also gold leaf, fabric, especially kimono fabric and paper with text or calligraphy. She allows objects fall into place naturally where they may and not be forced by the rules of measuring. Imperfections are what make things unique and beautiful. Diana is inspired by Eastern and Asian art, Aboriginal and African art, cave painting, graffiti art, veganism and the animal rights movement.
Her visionary work has been shown in NY, LA, Tokyo , Phoenix , Ohio and Seattle and can also be seen online at www.dianacomstock.com.
